Just make sure that your Hamster doesn’t overeat it. There is a lot of sugar in apricots which is not suitable for them. If they get too much of it, they may experience diarrhea or obesity.

People sometimes forget how tiny hamsters are. Because they are so small, they don’t need to eat much. Give them only a tasty snack. Only give them a small piece of apricot. Do not give a whole one.

Always clean the apricot well before feeding it to your hamster. Always check that there is no mold on it. Remember that hamsters like to hoard food. They save their food for later. What is not moldy now may become moldy later. That’s not good for your hamster’s health.
